Hello, Bandcamp

My name is David Torok. I am 23-years-old from Rochester, NY and an aspiring musician, just like a lot of the rest of you.

For the longest time, I have been sitting on all these old home demos I recorded years ago and had wanted to sign up for this website to upload some music, but I wanted to wait until I had some professionally recorded material. As you likely know, studio time isn't cheap and the funds for this have yet to materialize.

However, I have come to realize that lo-fi and home-recorded stuff seems to have somewhat of an audience on this website. At the same time, charging people money for something that isn't a professional recording never sat well with me.

But since there is an option to let people pay whatever they want, I finally decided to upload my demos and do the pricing that way.

By all means, download this for free if you enjoy it, but if you find enough potential in my craft to want to support it and would feel better about putting money in my hands? Then feel free to shoot some green my way (even if it's only one or two bucks, I would appreciate it!)

If you aren't very impressed by these tracks, what I can tell you is that these were recorded in 2014, 2015 and early 2016. So, I definitely have grown as a musician and songwriter since then and the songwriting in these does not necessarily reflect what you will hear on my forthcoming studio album (which I'm hoping to have released sometime in 2018!)
